Recently I received a commission to paint the Nicol family going surfing at Polzeath Beach, one of my favourite places to paint.

A lovely place to paint and sketch is a little historic fishing village called Beer, in Devon. There are a superb collection of boats on the beach and a delightful range of building to paint.

I 'm planining another trip to South Wales to paint some more castles so keep an eye out for me.
